Midland Funding, LLC v. Client

Midland Funding, LLC filed an action against our client in Rockville, Connecticut arising out of an alleged default on a Synchrony Bank credit card. The amount of the debt was almost $6,000.00. It was discovered that the client did not live within the Rockville Judicial District and did not sign the contract in Rockville. The Woods Law Firm, LLC was able to negotiate a mutual release of claims and a dismissal of the action with prejudice, meaning that the client can never be sued again for the debt!
